Mid-Atlantic bloom time: April - June

Two-leaved Miterwort's paired leaves at midstem and simple racemes of fringed white flowers are distinctive. It's basal leaves are rounded with 3-5 lobes. It gets its common name from its supposed resemblance to the mitre caps worn by bishops.
