Mid-Atlantic bloom time: September - October

Marsh Dewflower is considered to be highly invasive; it is native to eastern Asia. It can form mats in tidal freshwater marshes and swamps. It bears solitary flowers at the top of stems, which range in color from pink or maroon to bluish-purple.
