Mid-Atlantic bloom time: March - May
Mid-Atlantic fruit ripe: April - June

Perfoliate Penny-cress is an annual plant, native to Eurasia and North Africa. It bears small white flowers at the top of a single stem. Its basal leaves are ovate, with dentations. Its stem leaves are lanceolate and jagged, with their bases wrapped around the stem (i.e., perfoliate).
