Sheep Sorrel's leaves are mostly basal or on the lower stem, and are arrow-shaped, widest near or above the middle, blunt to pointed at the tip, with a pair of narrowly triangular, outward pointing lobes at the base. Its upright stems are brownish-red, with red (female) flowers or yellowish-green (male) flowers.
Sheep Sorrel is native to Eurasia and the British Isles.
